About Us
Biometric Information Management has
provided government and commercial institutions with biometric
consulting expertise since 2001. Our staff has over 50 years of
combined experience in law enforcement and fingerprint technology.
Our goal is to provide outstanding professional consulting services
that will enable organizations to best use fingerprint and other
biometric technology.
The Management
Mike Powers
Mike Powers’ career in identification
processes and identification technology spans 26 years, serving
agencies such as the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Hamilton
County Sheriff’s Department (Ohio), the Regional Crime Information
Center, and the Attorney General’s Bureau of Criminal Identification
& Investigation before becoming a partner with Biometric Information
Management.
Mike Powers was a fingerprint technician with the FBI, latent
examiner and crime scene technician with the Hamilton County
Sheriff’s Department, followed by ten years of service as a computer
programmer and Systems Analysis with the Regional Crime Information
Center.

Bill Webb
Bill Webb has had an extensive law
enforcement career spanning 37 years. He served 27 years with the
Columbus, Ohio Police Division followed by 2½ years as the Chief of
Police of the Genoa Township Police Department in Delaware County,
Ohio.
Next, Webb served for 7½ years as the Deputy Superintendent of
Identification for the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Identification and
Investigation (BCI&I). While at BCI&I, he managed the Bureau’s Criminal Justice Information
Systems section, the Information Technology section and the
Identification section.
BCI&I is Ohio’s criminal history repository
and exchanges criminal history information with the FBI.
